Membership in Lions is by invitation. If you would like to become a Lion contact any member of the College Park Lions Club, write a letter to the Club, or send an E-mail note to the President with the click of your mouse.

Individuals interested in their community and the enjoyment and rewards of being a Lion are always welcome and will receive a prompt response to their request.

The membership process is as follows:

• Those who express an interest in becoming a Lion are invited to attend one or more meetings to become acquainted with club members and learn more about the work of Lions.
  
• The prospective member fills out an application form. The form, signed by a member of the club who is the designated sponsor of the prospective member, is given to the membership committee.
  
• The membership committee reviews the application and may meet with the individual to assure there is an understanding of what is expected of a Lion member and to answer any questions the prospective member may have.
  
• The membership committee then makes a recommendation to the board of directors and a vote taken.
  
• Upon payment of an application fee and the clubs annual dues, an approved applicant is then inducted into the Club at a regular monthly meeting using an appropriate ceremony.
  
• In consultation with the President the new College Park Lions Club member will be assigned to serve on one or more Club committees.
