I am a LION by choice and not by chance. I believe in the importance of community and choose to contribute to its enhancement for the benefit of all. I will strive to promote in others, through my deeds and actions, the highest standards of citizenship for my community, state and nation. I will endeavor to grow in my ability to be of service through study, participation and exploration. I will not knowingly wrong my fellow Lions and will always defend them as far as honesty will permit. I will work for the advancement of Lionism and in harmony with others to achieve the goals and objectives of my club, my district and Lions International. My love and respect for all individuals will forever encourage me to impart something from myself that will help those less fortunate achieve a full and happy life.
